Interactive In-Person Lectures
Wednesday, March 11
12–1 p.m.
1311 University Hall
Interactive in-person lectures blend traditional teaching with active learning by incorporating student activities like think-pair-share and interactive polling to break up content delivery. This boosts engagement, retention and critical thinking by getting students to apply concepts immediately, fostering deeper understanding and better attendance. Key strategies involve short segments, frequent questions, varied activities (quizzes, discussions, visual aids) and using technology or simple peer interaction to get students involved.
