UA's Learning Ecosystem: Policies & Resources

In this session, we will provide information for GTAs pertaining to the specific institutional landscape of The University of Alabama, including the policies, platforms, resources and procedures that directly shape their day-to-day teaching responsibilities. Focus is directed to the practical infrastructure that GTAs must navigate at UA. GTAs frequently arrive with general pedagogical preparation but limited familiarity with institution-specific systems and expectations. This session will reduce that friction by providing structured orientation to UA's course management tools, academic integrity policies, student support resources and the procedural expectations placed on instructors.
